I've been trying to get this issue resolved for a long time now and I hope somebody here has some suggestions. I'll start off by saying that my name is correct in my credit report, however any time somebody tries to pull my credit from equifax it won't allow them unless they type my first name as my last name and my last name as my first name. I'm guessing this has to be some sort of database issue on their end since the report itself is correct (I can log into to their dispute page and see that it is correct in their system). This also creates an issue when trying to order anything from MyFico as it always gives me the error that my information doesn't match. I've spent hours on the phone with Equifax and every time they assure me everything is correct and there should be no problems pulling my report, but time and time again the same problem comes up. I don't know what to do at this point as the dispute process only solves credit report issues, not whatever internal problem is causing this, and trying to get someone on the phone to understand the issue seems impossible. Any ideas or other phone numbers I could try?
