With regards to pulling up the "full" account number... I've had better luck obtaining that information from annualcreditreport.com. I have individual accounts at each of the CBs, I don't think I've ever seen any of them give the full account number.Or if you've filed a dispute online with one of the CBs, they'll usually display a full CR with complete account numbers as well. At least with my experience on collection accountsand the one installment account I had.

I have this same exact "issue" and wrote about on here last year I believe it was. I have a closed car loan from (trying to remember correctly) 2001 showing up on my Transunion that was paid off years ago and it shows $0 balance yet status is OPEN. Basically I was told that it's not harming anything and to just leave it. That's exactly what I'm doing. Is there a specific reason, besides accuracy, that you really want it to state closed rather than open? Being that there's no balance I couldn't find an issue with it. It can be easily explained in a manual review and it may last years long on your CR which would be a positive thing. It won't affect you from receiving credit in the future either.
The problem is that the balance is not zero, it shows that the balance is for the same amount as my current car loan and each months that go by the balance has not changed. So my debt to income ratio is high and it shows that my debt is pretty high. If it was zero i wouldn't bother.

Transunion does show the whole account number when you dispute, but that auto (duplicate) loan isn't even on my transunion account. It only shows as a duplicate on my EQ report.
