Experian is FICO 8. It's the real deal. I don't subscribe to MyFICO, but my EX score has matched exactly for creditors who've pulled my EX report.

Thanks for your input Ronpa!

Yesterday I purchased the $1 report and score trial from Experian. As soon as I accessed my report and score, I called to cancel the trial. I saw the $1 pending charge on my CC. This morning I checked my Cap One account and the $1 pending Experian charge is gone. It didn't post and was removed from the pending charges. So somehow I got the report and score for free. Was your score close to the score on MyFico? Reason I ask is because I have been thinking of purchasing the 1 week trial because my Experian report here seems to be stuck! EQ and TU have been constantly changing and Experian is not budging, so I am curious to see if there is just no real movement on my EXP report score wise. I've had 2 charge offs and some lates removed, dropped my UTI and nothing has changed on EXP.

Thanks!

I just signed up for the Experian tonight and the FICO is exactly the same as myFICO Experian number. I cancelled myFICO tonight and going to simply go with the Experian one for a while.

Re: Experian $1 report and score for free

we just went over all this on this thread :-)

Make sure you call the non trial subscription to cancel and they WILL offer you 50% discount.

that includes EX fico08 (only) and daily full EX pulls.
