I had a collection that was "on record until 4/2023" with EX and it just got removed this morning on 4/17/23, after the first 2 full weeks/weekends of the month. In other words, the 3rd Monday of the month.
In case you're wondering about TU (Transunion), you can simply start an online dispute once you're 6 months away from the due date and they will remove it instantly as soon as you submit the dispute. So for example, my collection on TU was "on record until 6/2023" and so on 12/2022 I submitted an online dispute on their website and it was automatically removed once I clicked the "submit" button.
Regarding EQ (Equifax), I have no experience since my collection was never reported to them.
I hope this data helps.
