My open balance is currently 32% of my credit limit for all my revolving accounts including authorized user lines, but experian is listing my utilization at 50%? Are they no longer counting for AU lines on utilization? Even on my lines only, excluding AU, the UT would be over 60%. Where is this 50% coming from?
They are also including my AMEX Platinum as part of my revolving balance even thought it has no credit limit so it shoots up my balance.
EQ and TU showing it correctly as 32%!
I am curious to know as well as I recently was added to my boyfriend's Cap1 card as an AU and while it reported today, it is showing my UT at 27% which including that tradeline should be more of 12%. My score never changed neither when that account showed so maybe they just haven't updated yet?

Is this on Experian as well?
Yes it is on Experian.

How's your TU and EQ?
I haven't checked those yet, was waiting on Experian to update. We share a Family Plan on Experian so rather then having access monthly to all 3, now I can only check Equifax and Transunion once every 3 months so I'm holding out until I see it updates correctly. I did receive a email from Experian about my new credit utilization with the proper percentage, however my account still doesn't reflect the correct information. I'm assuming it just hasn't updated yet and will check tomorrow or later today.
Hello.
I commented on this in another thread a couple of days ago and it was so frustrating at first but it seems, at least for Experian, they have decided to exclude AUs from the UTI and total limits calculations.
At first, they were showing two separate UTIs, one with AU accounts and another without it. Then they started showing the latter.
Another thing is that they are adding amounts to the total limits that I still can't figure out, I don't really know what they are including in the total limit. At first, I thought they were adding the highest balance from my Amex Gold card or limits from closed accounts, but then it still didn't add up.
I found this on the website;
Note where it says, "Any authorized user account balances are also excluded". We just have to wait and see whether the two other CRAs will do the same. So far, EQ and TU reports show my correct amount of debt and Total credit limit.

Just spoke to them. They said in their report it shows 32% even though online it shows 50%. They are including AU in the balances in the report. But I'm not sure what any creditor is looking at, 32% or 50%?
