Experian site dispute can't be submitted

I normally periodically check my SPs on Experian to see who is peeking at my reports. A little background, I had put FAs on all my reports and then got the removed, of course Experian put them back on and I had to go through hopes with them and EQ to get it taken back off.But I noticed that after all that nonsense I could not pull up the page to start a new dispute, at first I thought the site was having "techinical difficulties" as it stated, but after a few tries it still didn't work.  So I log in my dh's account and low and behold it works grrrrr.

I honestly forgot about it and then decided to check again today, still can't get in.  I am pretty sure this has all to do with my on and off back on and off FAs.

Anyone else have this issue before?

Re: Experian site dispute can't be submitted

If you have an open dispute you won't be able to get any of them to open since you can only have one dispute at a time. I've had situations where it got stuck( not EX but EQ) even though there was not a dispute or anything open. It should clear its self up in a week or two at least that has been my experience.

Re: Experian site dispute can't be submitted

Check your browsers, as I had the same issue with Transunion getting a site error, it worked with google Chrome, I was able to get into the dispute page  but I could not file a dispute with them, I think they locked my feature out since I filed a complaint with the CFBP and served them attorney letters.

I also had to file a dispute with Experian but since I couldnt dispute information from my file, I went here https://www.experian.com/consumer/upload/

Wrote a letter to them and gave them documents they had asked for. You dont need a report number but if you have a current report from them that would help as well with your dispute.

Re: Experian site dispute can't be submitted

I've complained about this to the CFPB. I'm in the same situation. Evidently, if you file too many disputes (per Experian's biased judgment), you'll receive the "technical difficulties" page into perpetuity. Never mind that my disputes were valid, and erroneous information has been removed from my file on several occasions--Experian seems to punish those of us who dispute errors by making the dispute process more complex (i.e. forcing hardcopy submission by mail, rather than an online initiation). Experian.com/upload no longer seems to work for me either, instead the website consistently times out prior to accepting my submission.

Shameful gaming of rules, and plausible deniability on Experian's part.

@Jnbmom   I've had it for well over two months now. I was unable to even pull copies of free annual credit report

Also, it happened during early 2018, and I think it resolved itself in about 2-3 months

Re: Experian site dispute can't be submitted

Nope I still can’t file a dispute online Smiley Sad I did a few online disputes but no way they were excessive.

I can pull reports daily but nothing more .
