Experian vs TU/EQ on FreeCreditReport.com

FreeCreditReport shows Toyota Motor Credit and Capital One as CURRENT/CLOSED and has a positive check mark on both items.

On the breakdown of the CRA's , EX is reporting the Toyota as "Paid/was 30 days 2x"...DOFD 10/02 and Capital One as "Paid/was 120... DOFD 7/02. TU and EQ are reporting both accounts as paid as agreed.

Since EX is the only one reporting as late and I can't get a FICO score from them anyway, should I just leave these items alone and just let them run their course? Do the CRAs automatically remove the items when the 7 year limit is up or do I need to request deletion, and if so, from the OC or the CRA?

Re: Experian vs TU/EQ on FreeCreditReport.com

EX, being the Satan among Demons, seems to suffer from this psychosis.

I had a car loan showing late on EX, but PAA on TU and EQ. Fought with EX, GMAC, then EX, then GMAC, a few times, before I got the delete removed.

I'd say dispute it with EX and dispute it with the OC.

Do realize that freecreditreport-dot-com is a third-party report provider. It's not uncommon for things to display incorrectly on them (and on TrueCredit, and on CreditSecure, and on myFICO.)

You should really pull your full reports and see how they compare.

FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007
