FICO is reporting a collection account as a regular credit account

It should be a collection, but it shows up as a regular account on FICO, with several late payments which is incorrect, and it is a violation. Can someone that knows how FICO works let me know why this is, and what I should do about it? Thanks!

Re: FICO is reporting a collection account as a regular credit account

This is a newer trend- but not new-

They need to report the account closed-

They can report it "late" every month

FICO looks are the worst DQ and most recent-

It sees Collection and the Date-

Some evidence it looks at DOLA and some evidence it looks at the reported date-

Seems this is not "illegal" but really is not "acurate" either-

CA's should be treated different by:

What is the SOL status

Is it medical?

Is the OC also reporting-
