Re: FICO score vs. Risk score

I need to clarify my clarification from yesterday.

I've just been informed that EQ will continue to sell the single report with a FICO score.  They're just making it harder to find on their site.  :smileysurprised:

Re: FICO score vs. Risk score

Hey Marinevietvet, where exactly can I find the single credit report with a Fico score on their web site,  a couple weeks ago I had to ask customer service for exactly that and got it, but they were sure vague.  thanks

Also it appears that they are rolling over to the 08 version of Fico scoring soon,  is there a reluctance to share that version of scoring with anyone,  including Myfico, except for businesses,

It's supposed to be there but I haven't been able to find it. If someone can give directions I'd appreciate it.

Re: FICO score vs. Risk score

I just sat through their virtual sales pitch with "Julie", and I didn't come across it either. I probably clicked the wrong choices. I noticed that they had the FICO-is-a-trademark bit down at the bottom.

I wonder if they offer it as an option when you just buy your report, or get your annual freebie?

Re: FICO score vs. Risk score

Hauling & Marine, here is what I had to do today (8-21-10) to get what is still called Score Power by Equifax (one time report & fico score  $15.95). It is not shown on their Products site but if you call 1-866-493-9788 and be very specific about what you want (purchase of coarse)they will deliver your Score Power report and fico score to you  by you logging into their site using your username and password. They stated that they had no intention of doing away with this product but you must call them to get it. I did it and it works.

Thanks for the info. It hasn't been that long ago though that you could buy just the score by itself but I guess those days are long gone. I still have a copy of an EQ FICO I bought in July, 2006. The score was 663.

Must be a new twist in marketing. Don't advertise, and make it pretty near impossible to find the product. Smiley Tongue
