FMS Investment Corp and Pinnacle Credit Services

I just received two settlement offers on very old accounts (Sears) from the mid 90's from FMS Investment Corp and Pinnacle Credit Services.  They are offering two credit cards called The Affirm Card and are wanting me to pay the accounts that are outside of the SOL and are not reporting on my CR.

Has anyone had any dealings with these companies and how do I make sure that they do not list this stuff on my credit report after so many years?

Also, what do I do if they decide to attempt a lawsuit or continue contacting me about these accounts?

Check this thread for your state's SOL. If you're past the SOL, they cannot sue you. DO NOT pay them! DO NOT talk to them. Forget about these CCs too, they are awful. Here's a helpful link.
