I hope this doesn't step on the toes of our hosting site here, but just wanted to give a heads up to those out there who may not know. If you sign up for an account with M&T Bank, you can access EQ FICO each month for $2.99. A nice alternative to DCU because there's no hoops to jump through. Took me a few minutes to sign up last night and had my score this morning.
I've been using it for 2 months now and it's great addition. It shows your EQ FICO (same as on here) and throws out a couple of negative reason codes, but in layman's terms with suggestions on how to improve. Since I've known them, they are a big proponent of FICO scoring and are very open to providing your FICO when you app for any of their products.

What hoops do you have to jump through at DCU?
I'm curious because I was just thinking of joining for their free EQ FICO.

I was thinking you had to be a member of an organization. I just checked. I guess not. I've been looking at too many banks and credit unions. I'm getting them mixed up. LOL oh well.
I looked once a while back and you had to join some organization for $10 if your employer wasn't on their list.
I looked into joining for the score also, but it looks like you need at least their Checking Plus account for the FICO. And to qualify for Checking Plus you have to meet 2 of 3 requirements. I copied and pasted the info from their site below. I don't know if requirement #3 would be met by just having their VISA, or needing to carry a balance.

Now I know to scratch DCU off my list. Ain't no way they are getting my direct deposit and I will not be applying for any new CCs for the next 2 years.

Do you know whether they hard pull when applying for a Free Checking account? I have freezes on my report and at the end of the process they could not open the account (wanted me to call customer service to finish processing). I am just trying to figure out why/what kept the processing from completing online (honestly not interested in another inquiry). Thanks!
