FYI: Opening a Logix Checking + Savings

I just opened a checking and savings account with Logix ( only had a savings for my secured card before) and they pull both EX and Checksystems.

That's interesting. On April 8th I Applied for membership and opened a savings account online. This was done with a SP. On the 14th of April I applied for their Platinum Rewards card. I was approved for 15k using the membership SP.  I expected the card to be denied or CL downgraded but all is well in Logixland .

Logix tends to be 1K or 15K on the approvals that I'd read on them: by all reports they're a really good CU and they're local to me here so I setup the account for a mortgage target in the future.

I did pull the CC trigger too early after reading some approval threads: was "approved" for 1K but they wanted documentation on an old derog being paid when it was out of SOL/uncollectable and I wasn't going to do that.  Cancelled the app, may try again if I refi my car or open a long-term secured installment tradeline in June as a farm tradeline.  Actually I guess it would behoove me to go do the farm tradeline now come to think of it since I took a few credit card apps this month, ah well when USAA opens on Monday.
