Family Income.

Good morning. (Or afternoon, or night.)

Reading NerdWallet looking for info about what credit bureaus to freeze,

found out that you can use the family income when appying for a credit card.

IF You Have Access To It.

That is great news for me, since DW makes double my income, and then some.

BTW, I froze Innovis, ChekSystems, LexisNexis and SageStream (part of LexisNexis now.)

Be careful with the last one. Commenity, Synchrony and Ally, use them for credit checks.

I'm always looking for ways to add to the community, but sometimes is misinterpreted.

However, I've learn in my long life, that no good deed goes unpunished.

Cheers.

Re: Family Income.

With some lenders like Amex and Disco, you should only use what you can prove on your taxes. If you don't file with your significant other, avoid using household income with those types.
