Finally heard back from the representative at my old mort...

Finally heard back from the representative at my old mortgage company.  He says he did not make any headway and the late must stand.  I am really bummed.

I find that some do respond with a positive answer and some do not.  I sent two to Country Wide on the first one I got a negative response this time I sent it too a manager listed on the internet I finally received a response stating they would delete two 30 day lates but it took two tries.  Don't give up. Find who the head honcho is and try again.

I thought I did find him.  My e-mail was sent directly to the President of the company which was forwarded to the Executive Resolution team.  I've disputed with the CRAs several times already. I'n not sure where to go next.

I don't know they didn't delete your lates because they were your lender in the past.  I got deletes with Countrywide but I am a current customer and they would have a lot too lose by not trying to help me in my time of need once I got back on my feet and took my business elsewhere.

When were the lates?  Did you send a GW (goodwill letter)?

Well, I sent a good will e-mail instead.  Dripping with sugar it was.  It did not attract more flies in this case.  LOL.  One late, appearing February 2006.  As I said before, I made the payment within 30 calendar days, but not in February.  Therefore, payment was late.
