I called our local chapter (2900+ branches nationwide) to get information.
Checking Accounts: $25 needed to open.
If you're in the ChexSystem, they will not open an account UNLESS you have a letter from prior bank stating that all checks have been paid with them.
Savings Accounts: $5 to open
Christmas Clubs: Yes
