Firestone CC

Does an increase in the credit limit trigger them to report to the CRAs? I know if you don't use the card they don't report.

Re: Firestone CC

Technically, yes.

Under FCRA 623(a)(2), a furnisher is requried to promptly update any previously reported information as necessary to make the information complete and accurate.

However, it is highly doubtful if they would ever be found liable for damages based only on a lack of prompt update of a credit limit.

I used the card once since I received it and paid it off the next month.  It reported that month only.  After that, they increased my credit limit, but it never updated to show the new limit.
