Awesome, you rock. Thanks!
FYI, the address posted by nosxih on first page is for the bank HQ, so if your CR has the S Minnesota Ave, you might want to address it to Dykhouse at the bank, rather than Beacom at the Bankcard LLC?
Not sure exactly how those go; someone with more experience here might have a better answer.
Well, I don't know if this is right, but what I ended up doing is addressing it to Beacom at the 5147 PO box address. It's what came up after Jigsawing him. We'll see. It's addressed to him, so hopefully if that wasn't the right street address, it'll get sorted properly in their mail room. Ugh, I dunno. I'll keep you posted!
Best of luck with 1st Premier. They are a tough nut to crack. I have been at it for over 6 months now with no success as of yet. First I got the standard "We report all relevant information" which became, after a few more mailings, "We said no. Will no longer respond to your requests" (paraphrased) to no response at all. I, of course, continue to send weekly letters to both the bank and the card issuer.
So please, if anyone gets through let us know!

Hey CB. Yeah, wow. I've heard this about FP. It sounds like they don't even budge. Have you heard of any success stories? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Here's what I did: I had an outstanding balance of $721 (my last balance, woohoo!). So, I took a big leap of faith and sent it to the president (certified check and mail) with a GW letter. I pled my case that GW works in both directions, this is rightfully your money and rebuilding a business relationship with FP based on integrity was my main concern. I pled my case of why I had lates; but tried to make a bigger case about how my position has legitimately changed, putting me in a position to acquire new credit by the summer, I wanted that credit to be with them rather then a new creditor, and that removing my lates would go along way in getting me there. Basically I tried to make myself look like a good potential re-customer.
I will keep you updated!

Great GW letter! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
My position is a little different in that my account was CO and sold to a CA. I paid the CA in full a few years ago, before joining this forum. Once I joined and learned the powers of The Force from the Jedi Masters here I GWed the CA and OC. The CA relented and removed the reporting; 1st Premier, to date, will not. FP is my last baddie and due to fall off in about a year. I send about half a dozen GW letters to various persons every 2 weeks. I have nothing to loose but a little bit of postage. Maybe they will get tired of throwing them away and delete just to get rid of me
. Not counting on it though.

Way to go on the CA, though!
Are you applying for anything this year like a mortgage, or what have-you? If it's set to fall off this year, you might just ride it out. Then again, it's ony a stamp, too... ![]()

I'm fully prepared to ride it out. No major apps in the near future. I just have to feel like I'm trying to do something about it. I'm not very good at just sitting back and waiting. My sig line a while back was a line from a Tom Petty song, "...the waiting is the hardest part."
Cheers!
