It really does take about 6 months .... When I was building, I basically watched Credit Karmas FAKO score (it was pre Vantage Score) .... Tried pulling FICO in month 5.. Nope no score generated.. Even tried apping for Discover and got declined before my FICO generated... Oddly enough they sent me a score called an L2C score (another score algo for folks with not enough credit).. which would have approved me for a student card with them... Using VS to give you a hint isnt a bad thing .. It wont likely be the same as the VS score once the FICO generates... .Also realize you may have a higher FICO score than VS.. or lower... your just getting started =)
