Barclaycard became the first top 10 credit card issuer in the U.S. to offer free FICO scores to its members. Following the trend, Discover just announced that it now provides free FICO Scores on the monthly statements of Discover it™ cardmembers. This move is a big win for consumers, and consumer advocates who have been pushing for greater access to credit scores.
“By providing cardmembers with their free FICO® Score on their monthly statements, we’re helping them manage their finances so they can achieve their personal goals,” said Julie Loeger, senior vice president of brand and acquisition at Discover.
