GW Letter for Apartment Collection...

I have a apartment collection on my credit report from a year and 6 months ago. I paid it without knowing that I should also send a letter to not have it put on my CR. I have seached the forum looking for a GW letter for an apartment collection, but couldn't find anything. Am I wasting my time trying yo find a letter? The amount was for $920 and I payed it 2 months after I saw it on my credit report. I am paying off all my CC's and trying to raise my score. Any info for me? Thanks in advance!
Oh yes, I forgot to add. They are called Quantum Collections.
Here's the website...

I was just searching online for an answer and I cam across this link:

This guy claims that if i send a letter stating  "to be deleted upon payment per agreement" that the CA cannot pull the account up because it is "purged." Now, my only concern is that I didn't have any kind of agreement with them when I payed off this debt, and also what if the account is not "purged" what kind of fool am I going to look like if I did send them a letter like this? Should I just stick with the good ol' GW letter and hope for the best?

Just tell the CA briefly that you paid them (CA) and you want them to delete. Of course add a little filler, but keep it simple. Handle it like any other GW for removal to a CA.

After a few attempts, then try to DV them. But be sure to do the GW first.
