I just checked my Eq report and my score increased a total of 8 points so I started reviewing it.  Well, Chase deleted my two charged off accounts from 2005 and 2006.  Hooray for me.  Hooray for me.  I want to personal thank Noah because i used his sample GW letter to Chase with a few changes and apparently it worked.  I hope that when the other two cb's update, i will be pleased to see that it is deleted from them as well.

I sent out two last week. One for a closed account and one to get that 90day late mark removed. Patiently waiting to see what they respond with.

Does anyone think the GW letter would work with Providian or Washington Mutual?  My charged off account was originally with Providian, then listed as WAMU both balance 0

I had a chargeoff account with Chase that I settled about 3weeks ago and I sent them a GW letter. I will like to know when you had this sent to them and how long it took for them to reply? Thanks

akinzo,  i wrote the gw letters to chase on 5/7/07 and sent them regular mail to Ohio.  i did not receive correspondence back from them, but when i checked my score today i saw that information had been deleted.
