Just got a response to my GW letter for my paid collection accout...... Deleted on all three!!!! Proof that its always worth a shot!

Who owned your verizon account? Verizon or National Recovery? Trying to get a paid verizon charge off removed, verizon is only one reporting. I need a good address for them, if you happen to have one!

It reported under Verizon, but the address said National recovery.  Also the letter that came back was from Verizon, but at the bottom said National recovery.  I think they are one and the same.

Wow, Congrats! I too have them listed on my CR for Verizon Wireless. I sent my 2nd PFD to them at that address three weeks ago. We'll see.

How old was your CO?

It was from 2.5 years ago.  They seemed accommodating.  Good luck to you!

Hey chiwiseguy, can you post the GW letter that you used?? I actually disputed the one on my EX and got it deleted. They confirmed with TU and EQ though, . Thanks.

I wrote a GW letter to that same address and i never received a response. I have sent a gw to my regions location which is in GA. Guess i will try the Cali address next time!

They shot me down again...i have since sent the OC letter to them hopefully this will wake them up!
