Hi everyone. I recently sent a GW letter to Chase Home Finance and today I got two letters from them. One letter says in re: to credit correction request basically asking me to specify the month and year I am disputing along with any supporting documentation I may have, which I found odd since I didn't send them a dispute letter. I sent a goodwill letter simply asking them if they would delete any late pays from my credit reports with an explanation as to why we late.
The second letter dated the same day says: This letter is in response to a recent inquiry about your loan. We have forwarded your issue to the appropriate department for response. You will receive confirmation as soon as this situation is resolved.
I was kind of surprised to get two separate letters from them dated the same day, but with different responses.
Has anyone got a letter from an OC where they said the request was forwarded to the appropriate department and if so, I was wondering if they deleted the late payments or not? I sent out several GW letters and this is my first response so far. I guess it's good that they didn't say no to it, but the waiting around for their official response is hard. Is there a specific department I should have sent this to? I just used the address on my CR and didn't specify a specific person or department.
Has anyone had any luck with GW letters to Chase Home Finance?
