I had car payment that was late about four years ago. Since then, on time every month. They are reporting it on my CR as late. Should I send a GW letter to see if they will remove the "late"? If so, does anyone have a link to a GW thread?
So - to clarify: Are they reprting it as "late" right now? If so, you need to dispute that. Then GW the creditor to remove the one late payment. Also, there's a GW example in the section at the top of the message list.
on one report, it shows OK/was past due. It also has a chart of seven year pay history that shows late payments from four years ago. The other two CR's show OK but show seven year chart as paid late four years ago. Is there a way to have them remove this with a GW letter?
