General CRA Observations

I didn't see this focused in other threads, but if it does exist, feel free to lock this up.

Things I have observed:

Experian is always the first to report my updated balances every month. Followed by Transunion. Then Equifax. Sometimes the latter two flip.

Experian seems to update information faster as a whole (I just had an RJM cleared off) without any escalation (RJM sent out the updated letter and Exp had it off in a couple weeks). HOWEVER, I find that if you do need escalation, Transunion is great. Equifax, again, is a dog for me.

Feel free to add on to this with your own experiences.

Re: General CRA Observations

IME,

99.9% of the time it's EX, EQ, then TU for reporting updates for me.

I've never really had to deal with major diputes with the CRA's.  However, the few times I've disputed incorrect balances online, the "investigation" only takes a few days with EX, about the same for TU, and almost the full 30 days with EQ.
