General Help Needed

Ok just need some general help. I have some collections out and some creditors that have me written off as a "Profit and Loss Writeoff" was just wondering if there is a way i can get the collection agencies mailing addresses for alot of them have not contacted me and i see no way of getting ahold of them. If anyone could be of any assistance id appreciate it on how i can find this information out. Thanks

on each of your credit reports there should be a contact list of all your creditors. I think TransUnion has one of the better ones but cross reference each credit report since not everybody reports to all three.

well i am looking at my 3 credit reports thru freecreditreport.com... for some reason i can find no way of gettin the contact information for them... Do i need a dif website or do i need to request a paper report or something?

experian is a bit of a pain, unless someone else knows of another way, I have to go to the dispute section, click on potentiionally negative items and click on each creditor and their info comes up.

Having ordered all three through freecreditreport.com does it bring you directly to each one's webpage? Transunion's in truecredit.com. There is really nice and easy. All you have to do is click on credit report and scroll all the way to the bottom and there is a list of your creditor's contact info.

Welcome!

Get your reports from http://www.annualcreditreport.com -- the authentic website. Those reports should have more creditor contact info.

Ok so here we start ... I have :

American General Fin - $1818 - Charged Off as Bad Debt - P&L WriteOff

Argent Health Care Fin - $107 - Placed for Collection

Cap1 BK - 2374 - Charged Off as Bad Debt - Cancled by credit Grantor

Dell Fin SVC/CIT - $1460 - Bad Debt & Placed for Collection & Skip - Charged off Acct change

GEMB/JCP - $0 (not a debt ... but an acct open since 03 with 0 balance but have never recieved a card i believe it to be JCPENNY)

GEMB/WalMart - $0 balance (cant be) - Charged Off - Sold

LVNV Funding LLC - $244 -collection -unpaid (maybe walmart?)

NCC Bus SV - $1070 - (i believe this is the back rent i owe an apartment complext from 05 which they sued me for. moved to florida never got any info)

Verizon - $324 - Charged Off as bad debt.

That is all my creditors and their names .. if anyone could translate that into english that i may understand id appreciate it ... cant figure if i should call all these places or what a charge off means ... any help is appreciated .. and thanks for the welcome .. Fiance and I are looking into gettin a house in the near future so thats why im tryin to resolve all this ...

do you know who has the collection account. you can always call the original creditor.

need a little more info from you......NEVER CALL A CA!!!!!

what are the dates on all your bad accounts......what is the DOFD........Is the OC reporting as well?

Know your SOL before doing anything! If not past SOL you might wake a sleeping giant & they will sue you. This is why dates are important!
