Getting rid of False reports

I got a small loan from HFC (HSBC)you know the kind that is a check and you cash it. Well I needed the money and knew I could pay it off with in six months so I cashed it. I have never regretted anything more in my fanacial life. First they did not reconize my payments and did not call until they reported my account late. Then I start getting nasty collection calls from them and I mean Nasty. I sent them bank records 3 times and finally they sent me a letter 6 months laters stating that the loan has been paid in full and there was no late payments. To bad they didnt follow through and fix my credit history. So I had to start the whole procces over again to get them to fix my credit score. Another 3 months slide by and now my credit scores show I went bankrupt on them. So I am starting the whole proccess over again. This has screwed up all of my plans and put my biz plans on hold and may have ended them since I missed my main target.

Is there anything a lender is scared of that would force them to take quick action and fix this like it was there own.

Re: Getting rid of False reports

I'd sue them.

At minimum an ITS letter. Give them 3 days to fix.

What is an ITS letter.

Do I really have a case against this company?

Re: Getting rid of False reports

ITS= Intent to Sue

State this is you last correspondence demanding this item be properly reported before you seek the advice of an attorney to protect your rights and potential punitive damages because of this inaccurate information.

You would need to speak to a attorney to verify you have a case. IT depends on how much paperwork/Audit trail/record keeping you have to back up what you stated.
