BBS, are sure you never heard of penalty APR? Just about every card I have has a provision in the card agreement to apply penalty APR when late, some have a specific time period to earn your way back to the original APR, some do not mention.

I don't know, I've never paid attention to APR or anything related to it when it comes to revolvers.  I couldn't tell you the interest rate on any of my CCs; it's simply something I pay zero attention to.

I'm the same way actually since I never carried balance, I only know about penalty APR because I read the card agreement before I apply.

I've skimmed my card agreements, but regret to say that I don't recall ever reading any of them in their entirety.
