HP to open checking account?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but does anyone know if the following banks use a HP when you open a checking account with them?

Citi

Chase

BofA

I know there are some CU out there that use SP only, but if anyone has information specific to those listed banks, that would be much appreciated.

Major banks typically do not. It's the credit unions that are the ones that typically get you with HPs for opening accounts. 

Anyway, I used a google search to find the answers for you:

Citi: Soft

Chase: Soft

BofA: Soft
