HSBC Bank Question?

I recently had an issue with HSBC Best Buy.  Always current, dh was informed by HSBC that a payment was skipped.

I knew I had just signed up for online banking & it was paid.  Unfortunately I listed an incorrect account # and the payment wasn't made.

I immediately phoned in and made a sizeable payment.  According to their collector, we are continually 'late' and the account is in jeopardy of being closed and turned for collection.

I pulled the statements and we have been 100% on-time since Jan '07 plus made additional payments to the account.

What kind of BS is this?  I'm writing them a GW to see if it will be removed.  This 'service center', of course, is in India...a real PITA to deal with.

Man that doesnt sound good so far i am usually get paid on the first of every month so i gonna have due date changed to the 15 of every month so that i will never be late! And hopefully i will not have any problems with them! Also do you know if they report to all three?
