Unless you were making a LOT of apps in a very short timespan, I wouldn't worry too much as a general rule about hard inquiries. As @Irish80 likes to say, people worry too much about those things; a modest number of hard inquiries is pretty much the inevitable consequence of applying for credit, and the negative effect on your score will drop off after 12 months even though they'll still appear as items on the report for a total of 24 months. I think average age of accounts is more consequential; I got 4 credit cards between May 20 and July 1 and that definitely hurt my AAoA.
