Help me how to find a collection.

my gf has two collection agency on their report and I would like to send a PFD letter. The problem is that the collection name is "170yc00000" and I can't find anything with that name. Can someone help me locate this collection name so I can send them a PFD letter.

if you pull your report on equifax.com or something it will tell you the real name that happed to be before.

You need to pull the CR directly from the CRA, or from a site that pulls directly from the CRAs (truecredit, freecreditreport, annualcreditreport, etc). It's been masked on myfico for your protection

You need to get a CR directly from the CRA to get that information.
