I had a Discover CC that was sent to a Collection Agency . I settled with this CA sometime in 1999. Earlier this week I receive a call from a different CA trying to collect. I told the rep that I had settled this with the other CA in 1998 or 1999, I couldnt remember. I also told her it was 3 or 4 payments of $300 OR $400 each. Did I make a mistake by talking to the rep ? She of course asked me if I had papers from the settlement, I told her I would have to check. She said would put notes on the file and then gave me a fax number to fax over the documents. I live in KY. What should I do ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!! Matt
