I recently paid a medical collection of 111.00 and i was told that it would be deleted from my credit report. after about 3-4 months i contacted the agency because it was still on my report. They lady i talked to was very very rude to say the least and she told me no one would have told me that it would be deleted. I asked if i could talk to the lady i had talked with first and she told me NO. lol Anyway i disputed it with the credit agencies because I know i did not sign as the responsible party and i put my husbands name and SSN on the paper you have to sign. two credit agencies i disputed with said it will stay on my report and now the collection agency is trying to contact me. I am wondering If The can keep it on my record or not as i gave my husbands info and all that.
