I have heard that any account under inquiry does not count against your FICO while being investigated, but also heard that it still does factor in. Well, apparently my old FIA MC CC wasn't counting towards my score, because the investigation was completed today, and with it, my EX dropped 25 POINTS!!!
The info on the Score Alert lists that status was changed from "Consumer disputes - reinvestigation in process" to "Account closed at consumer's request - credit card."
This was the only change and my score just bottomed out...
