I don;t think there is much of a way for someone who actually was deployed to overplay the service card. In your shoes, I would not hesitate to GW lates that occurred due to being deployed overseas and I would not feel bad about it in the least bit. It is really a shame that toe government hasn't figured out a way to help you guys out of these situations anyway. I have talked to a bunch ox current and/or ex servicemen/women that had horrible credit stuff due to deployments, trouble getting bills, and trouble with expenses and stuff due to the deployments. In any cases these led to people loosing their home, etc due to extended deployments and strain on the finances. Anyways, GW away without any guilt...
Also, no one should ver feel guilty GWing as you are asking a favor, not trying to lie to get it removed. You are jsut saying hey, I messed up and here is why. Can you be nice and make it a little easier on me if I can pay you back (or already have)
