I am curious if the high balance listed on credit reports will decrease if one remains at a lower balance for a certain period of time.
For example, I had a high balance listed for $2,150.00. However, I have paid that balance down to $34.00. If I keep that balance at $34.00 for, let's say, three months, will the $34.00 be listed as my highest balance?
Thank you!

No, the high balance is the largest balance you've carried to date on that card, regardless of the current balance.

x2 - The $2,150.00 will always be the highest balance listed unless you exceed that amount in which case the new amount will show as your high balance.
Thank you!
