History vs. 30day

I had a joint-account credit card that is currently only being reported to one credit bureu (Experian).  This card adds about an additional 5 years of history to my credit, however it also has a 30day ~11/04.  Is it worth trying to get it added to my TU/Eq reports who both only report about 2-3 years of history?

Re: History vs. 30day

The 30 from 3 years ago is NIL to your scoring.

The history is better.

Contact the OC and ask if they report to all the CRA's.

And good luck.  I have an old TL that will NOT report to EX whatever I do

Re: History vs. 30day

A large number of 'limbo' accounts can be fixed if it was address information that is holding it back.

If the address on the account is not on the CBR at all or is significantly different, getting it added or corrected with the CRA will often have it magically appear.  You can do this directly with the CRA or by updating the 'old' address on a monitoring service for that CRA.

Disputing the outdated address after the account appears has a high chance of causing the account to go back to Limboville.
