The CapOne Creditwise score is a TU Vantage 3.0 score and it tracks the Vantage 3.0 score I see on Credit Karma perfectly. As for accurate, the Creditwise TU Vantage 3.0 score can only be compared to another of the same so date of the score would be the only variable.
For me, my TU Vantage 3.0 score lags my FICO TU score 8 by 11 points: 783 TU FICO 8 v 772 TU Vantage 3.0 but differences should be expected because they're different score models.
It is a completely different scoring system (Vantage 3.0). You really can't compare the two. There is no standard if FICO is X Vantage is Y type of comparison. They have their own scoring rules.
You can get a free EX score from Discover, even if you are not a customer. https://creditscorecard.com/
Also, you can do a 1 week trial with credit check total to get all 3 scores for $1. Just don't forget to cancel.
Creditwise is the Capital One spin on a TU VantageScore 3.0 model. FICO has different scoring models which can yield scores higher or lower depending on profile. EX, EQ and TU are credit bureaus that possess your data, they are not scoring models. They provide the data that the different scoring models use. Hopefully that makes sense.
thanks didn't know about this, i'm at 649 according to discover
If that score is from your Discover account, it's a TU 08 score. If it's from discover score card (no account needed) it's an EX 08 score.
