First, you need to get your FICO scores, all three of them, if you haven't already.
Next, please read "Credit Scoring 101" which is stickied at the top of most of the boards here.
If you start applying individual pieces of advice to your situation without understanding how it all hooks together, you're apt to make things worse before you make them better.
