How can you actually succeed in getting goodwill deletions?

I sent requests to four credit companies asking for goodwill deletions for single-time 30-day lates that happened over four years ago. (All at the same time when I moved just after graduation from grad school and had a big crunch).

Each one sent me "we have verified, etc." even though I specifically acknowledged I was not disputing the late and was asking for a goodwill deletion.

How can you really get results to get these removed? Should I call instead of write? Write more unique letters? How can you really get them to pay attention?

i recently received the same response to two of my GW letters.  I'm not sure what i'm going to do now, but i do know that i am going to keep trying.  good luck!
