Re: How is this inquiry dispute letter? Correct?

I don't have an account with them!  They just pulled it . . . as far as I know, they don't have a right?

Re: How is this inquiry dispute letter? Correct?

I've been wondering about this, too.  I have an inquiry from 5/07 for Northland Group, I guess in conjunction with a LVNV account, which has since been deleted.  I send Northland a letter in July to ask them to remove it, and heard nothing.  I would like to send/fax them another letter, but fear that they will just add another inquiry to my report.  I'm in the middle of try to get my house now, so I don't need my score dropping any lower...is my fear warrented,  or should I wait until I close on my house to contact them for removal?

Re: How is this inquiry dispute letter? Correct?

Ok, so let me get this straight.  Even if you have/had an accout with a collections agency, they are prohibited under the cited FCRA references from making a hard inquiry at any of the CRA's?

I had an accout with one and it conducted 2 hard pulls (one from TU, one from EX in 1/07 and 2/07 respectively).  The one will cease reporting in a few weeks, the other not for another 2 months.

If they pulled the reports illegally, I want to have them removed from the record, regardless of when they will fall off!!
