How is this possible? Having 4 credit reports?

I called Equifax today and spoke with customer service. My credit report "has no late payments on file." This was on the updated report they provided to me one week ago. Now, when I pull a NEW report through myfico or consumerinfo, it shows I have four late payments on one account? I called myFico and asked them why this is happening? They said they had no idea and think Equifax is sending them incorrect info? Is this possible? Can Equifax be sending wrong info? Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? P.S. Other corrections have been made to my report (elimination of non-approved inquires), per Equifax, and they are showing up on my myFico and consumerinfo-pulled report...but that account still doesn't pull right...how wierd

I would pull a report directly from EQ. Even if it costs $10. You need to have the facts.

Timothy, thanks for the suggestion. Well, I took your advice and ran an equifax report.

Now, I'm really confused. On the cover page of the report, it states I have no negative history what-so-ever. However, when I review the report and look under the one account that was fixed, it says there are still four-months of late payments...now I'm confused and have no idea how to fix this?

According to Equifax my report has no late-payment showing and the report THEY sent me supports such; again, online it says I have no negative report info, but then under the account the stuff is still screwd up....I'm LOST....and becoming hopeless...will it ever all end?

I figured out the issue! Equifax has two seperate credit files for me under the same social security number!! Can you you beleive that! how frustrating!

Looks like you have a split EQ file. Do you have a ton of TLs on EQ? Are you pulling your EQ report daily?

13 open. 5 closed. Same on both reports. But one has an unfixed baddie.

LOL - I sent in the letter today requesting the merge with proof of identity...I'm so perturbed! However, I must that it will be confusing as my social security card has a typo on it!!! -go figure- ...and the saga continues...
