How long before my score recovers

I had TU 691, EX 690, EF 689.

I opened a couple installment unsecured loans through my credit union and also Wachovia bank. I also open an AMEX, and Nordstrom credit cards. My scores dropped to

EX  598
EF 620
TU 633

These are my current fico scores. How long before the scores go back to where they were. I know there is an aging period but it has been four months since these account were opened. Please Help.

Has anything else changed on your reports? How much of your available revolving credit is being utilized?

Re: How long before my score recovers

Myfico states that I am at 55%. I know that using my CC some will lower the score. The reason that I started using some of my credit is because Sears told me that I had to much available credit.

Sears/ Citi told me something similar when I asked for a CLI --that I wasn't using the credit I had on that card to justify a CLI. So I've been burning it up the last two months, around $1200 total charged on it (it's a MasterCard) on a card with a $775 CL. But I only let $7 report last month, and in three days, it will report $0.

You can use your cards until the numbers melt off, but you have to pay them down or off BEFORE they report your balance to the CRA's. That's how you use credit a lot, but you get score points for not using it. Smiley Wink
