They report for 5 years.
You owe the bank money, you don't pay, the bank reports your account to ChexSystem. The same way a creditor or CA would report your account to your CR from EQ, EX, or TU.
Speak with the OC and ask if they'll remove from ChexSystems if you PIF.
ChexSystems report doesn't affect your CR from EQ, EX, or TU. FCRA applies to ChexSystems the same as it does EQ, EX, and TU.
