How long does it take for a foreclosure ?

Hi..

Just wondering how long it takes for a foreclosure to be reported as such on your credit report.  Our foreclosure was final on May 10, 2010 and doesn't seem to show anywhere as a "foreclosure" on our report.  Only shows our missed payments on the mortgage loan...last one being over 120 days late one time well over a year ago.  Any help would be appreciated.

That is totally up to the creditor.  They may report, and again, they may no longer care, and may never report.

They have the action that they sought.  Credit reporting may be admin procedure on their part, but I dont see it as being a significant factor that would compel its reporting.

Lay low, and hope they dont report.
