Hi Everyone,
I was just curious as to the length of time a new credit inquiry (I believe this is known as a hard pull) remains on your report? I had applied for credit quite a few times last year but I can't find any of them on my reports. I applied for a BOA card (denied), Amex (approved), VS (approved), Bloomingdales (approved), Amex Blue (denied), and then Neiman Marcus card early this year (denied). The only inquiry I see on my report is the Neiman Marcus which was Equifax. I have zero pulls from transunion. Do these inquires disappear after a few months or were ALL these pulls on Experian? Ouch!

When you apply for credit , you are correct, they are known as "Hard Pulls" and they remain on your report/s for two years, however they will only affect your score for one year from the date of the pull.
If you do not see the pulls on EQ or TU, you can bet they were all pulled from EX. AmEx is known to pull from EX, not sure about the others.
Congrats on the new cards!! And Welcome to the Forums.
