How many letters do I send at one time?

I have 11 medical collections and DH has 2. Total they add up to approx. 20k.....ouch.

So I am wanting and willing to start paying these down and want to send out the DV letters but know I cant pay 20k right now...so do I send the letters as I have the money or do I just send them all at once and *assume* its going to take some of these CA a while to respond if they do at all??

How do I handle the larger bills? Some are 5k - 9k. I cant afford to pay these all at one time...but want them gone. So I would like to send these folks DV letters also, but what do I say if I know I cant pay them?

I think you are confusing DV with PFD. Also, keep in mind that do to HIPPA, medical collections are unique. Do a Google seach for "whychat hipaa letter".
