How often can you dispute wrong information?

I've noticed that my auto loan and credit card companies lag one to two months behind in updating my file. Can I dispute the information if they don't update it within 30 days?

Is there any limit on how often you can dispute something on your credit report?

I have disputed the same item (s) on all 3 credit reports SEVERAL times until I give up or they give in.
