How to fax docs to Experian?

I went to their website to get their address for my letter and saw this:

Experian's National Consumer Assistance Center does not recognize faxing as a secure means for transmitting confidential consumer identification information. Therefore, we do not accept consumer correspondence that is faxed to any Experian office. Faxed documents are not processed.

So is my only other option snail mail? That is such BS!!

Do you just go ahead and fax them anyway? Have people had success doing this?

i faxed my change of name, address, ssn, and phone numbers on file.  the next day, they were deleted, except 2 wrong one's stayed. and a few of my wrong name's stayed.  in all i had about 3 pages worth of typo's. i included my ss card and dl.  i didn't know at the time that you're supposed to send a utility bill to prove your address though, since my dl is from a different state.  faxed another dispute yesterday, don't know if they will accept it though.

ok, well that's something. I feel like I've read about faxes to them here a million times, and so I was kind of surprised by the language on their site. I will try it, I guess the worst that will happen is nothing and I will CMRRR.
